Getting to know me
I'm a product designer based in the Philippines, and I've spent the last five-plus years designing digital products. The work I enjoy most is taking a vague, ambiguous idea and shaping it into something clear and genuinely useful, without losing sight of business goals or what engineering can realistically build.
I started out in UI design and design systems, and over time that grew into end-to-end product design. These days I work closely with PMs, engineers, stakeholders, and data teams from discovery all the way to delivery. Years of being the only designer in the room taught me to own several initiatives at once, switch context without dropping the ball, and get products to a cohesive, launch-ready state.
AI is a real part of how I work too. Tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and v0 help me move faster through research synthesis, ideation, UX writing, prototyping, and iteration, so I can spend more of my time on the decisions that actually need a human.

Research & Discovery
I treat ambiguity as the starting point, not a blocker. From stakeholder interviews to data dives to AI-assisted synthesis, I work to uncover the real problem before designing the solution.
Design Systems
Built or led design systems at four different companies. I think in tokens, components, and documented patterns — and I leave every product I touch with a stronger system than I found.
UI Craft
Visual hierarchy, typography, interaction, motion — the parts of design hiring managers used to see first and now expect by default. Still the work I love most.
AI-Augmented Workflow
Claude, ChatGPT, v0, and Figma working together. I use AI to compress synthesis, generate ideation alternatives, draft UX copy, and prototype faster — without losing craft.

Finding balance
I enjoy finding balance in life. I'm the type of person who loves planning a trip months in advance, but I'm just as happy saying yes to an unexpected adventure. Some days I enjoy the energy of the city, while other days I find myself craving the slower, quieter rhythm of the province. I guess that's why I never really feel tied to just one kind of lifestyle.
One of my favorite things to do is simply sit at a park and watch people go about their day. There's something calming about it. I value peace, appreciate unhurried moments, and believe not every day has to be packed with plans. If nothing's on the calendar, you'll probably find me at home, enjoying the comfort of doing absolutely nothing for a while.
I'm naturally curious and enjoy experiencing new places, trying new things, and collecting little moments along the way. Whether I'm out exploring or staying in, I find joy in the simple things and try not to rush through life more than I have to.
