Building This Portfolio — AI in the Loop

This portfolio is itself a case study. Instead of using a site builder, I directed Claude Code the way I'd brief a design-engineering partner: I set the brand direction, wrote the spec, gave feedback on every iteration, and made the design calls while AI handled the code. The whole site went from scaffold to live in about a week of working sessions, and the process taught me a lot about what AI-augmented design actually looks like in practice.

Kimia — TDS Generator

I'm the sole product designer at Kimia, and I built our AI-powered Technical Data Sheet generator from the ground up. I worked closely with engineers and the founding team to turn pretty ambiguous requirements into something polished and demo ready, covering onboarding, product data workflows, and analytics dashboards. Every decision had to balance technical constraints with how chemical industry professionals actually work day to day.

Kudosity — Design System & Discovery

At Kudosity, formerly BurstSMS and Known, I built and maintained a scalable design system while driving product discovery across the company. I worked closely with PMs, engineers, and stakeholders to shape UX direction, ran discovery sessions to surface needs nobody had named yet, and brought some real cohesion to a messaging platform that had been growing faster than its design foundations could keep up with. The system I left behind is still in active use today.

As Design System Lead at MyKuya, I led the end-to-end redesign of our service marketplace app during a critical growth phase. I translated business goals and user research into a cohesive visual language, delivered high-fidelity prototypes across every core flow, and worked closely with engineering all the way through implementation. The redesign shipped on schedule and measurably improved task completion rates.
